Meet the Team

Tanner is the owner of NRV Home Improvement. Beginning in 2006, (then Easy Cut Landscaping and Remodeling) he has worked with hundreds of customers throughout Montgomery, Pulaski, Giles, Floyd and Roanoke counties. Tanner has 20 years of experience in business and specializes in construction with an emphasis on residential layout and design. He enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, outdoor adventure, traveling, and playing guitar with the band at Northstar Church in Blacksburg. He also volunteers at City of Refuge, Pulaski. He lives in Christiansburg, VA.

Scott is a founder and lead carpenter of NRV Home Improvement. When Scott joined NRV Home Improvement he brought much of what makes our company great. He has an incredible eye for custom carpentry and customer's always appreciate his character and work ethic. Scott has three decades of building and remodeling experience in multiple fields of construction. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years and their four children and many grandchildren. He also enjoys hunting and fishing and working with students at the KOZ program in Pulaski.

Daniel is no stranger to the values of hard work, and strong relationships and he brings a steady, grounded presence to every project.

With years of experience in remodeling, team building, and project management, he knows how to turn a homeowner’s vision into a clear and accurate estimate and a beautiful final product. His approach is practical, detail-minded, and rooted in doing the job right the first time.

When he’s not working, Daniel enjoys hunting, staying hands-on with his hobbies, and making memories with his family.

   Originally from Central Florida, John brings a relaxed, easygoing spirit (and a wealth of experience) to his role as a lead carpenter at NRV Home Improvement. John is a family man with a deep love for the outdoors and deep-sea fishing. He also has a passion for building and remodeling and working with customers to help them achieve their project goals. For over 30 years, John has worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, including managing the construction of an entire retirement community. He is also an exceptional equipment operator with a strong background in plumbing, electrical, and general construction. 

 Jerry has over 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry and he brings dedication and expertise to every project at NRV Home Improvement. Specializing in remodeling, plumbing, excavation, and mechanical installations, he takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality craftsmanship to every project. As a remodeler, Jerry combines his years of technical knowledge with a very practical, approach to customer projects. Whether it's a complex and unusual task or a standard renovation project, Jerry always performs with precision and skill.

When he's not transforming homes, you’ll likely find him on the open road enjoying a ride on his motorcycle.

  Courtland is a versatile member of NRV Home Improvement bringing a strong background in hands-on work and jobsite safety. With over four years of professional painting experience, along with multiple certifications, he contributes both practical skill and a safety-first mindset to every project. In addition to his primary experience, Courtland has worked with heavy equipment and has a working knowledge of electrical tasks allowing him to support a wide range of projects. He takes pride in doing quality work and being dependable on the job.

Outside of work, Courtland is a tabletop gaming enthusiast, he’s also naturally thoughtful and brings a steady, practical mindset to both his work and everyday life.

 Wesley is committed to delivering quality work and continuous improvement in every project he takes on. With a background in precision manufacturing at CVG in Dublin, where he built custom headliners for Volvo, Wesley developed a strong eye for detail and craftsmanship. At NRV Home Improvement, Wesley focuses on growing his skills in the trades while helping customers create spaces that match their vision. He enjoys tackling a variety of projects and takes pride in turning ideas into finished results. Outside of work, Wesley enjoys spending time with his family.

  Vicente is an honorary member of NRV Home Improvement.  He started at NRV Home Improvement in 2015, and worked with the team for more than seven years before moving. He began his construction career as a brick and stone mason in 2001. Although he has plenty of previous experience, he credits much of his remodeling talents to what he learned from Scott at NRV Home Improvement. Vicente has a great work ethic and a kind personality.  In his free time he likes music and science fiction films. Vicente enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren.
